The practice of Art fulfils my need to be creative, and this is equally applicable to my love for other creative arts especially music. Light is my driving force; light conveyed with strong tonal contrast to create warmth and atmosphere, and when this is successfully applied to a canvas it gives me a great sense of satisfaction and well-being.
I enjoy producing all forms of artistic composition, particularly portraiture and landscapes and draw inspiration from many artists including Professor Ken Howard, Joseph Wright of Derby and Jean-Baptiste-Camille.
